Steak Pizzaiola
3 lbs bottom round steak Sliced
1/4 Inch Thick or More Tender Cut Left Thicker
1/2 cup of olive oil
rep pepper flakes
1 large chopped onion
2 cloves of garlic (minced)
1 1/2 Cup of chopped tomatoes (for the best taste use red ripe tomates)
1/2 cup of red wine
1/2 Cup Chopped Fresh Parsley

Take the meat and season it with salt and pepper. Use a skillet to heat the olive oil and then add the meat. Steaks needs to be brown it on the both sides. Remove it and keep warm. (cover it with the glass cover to keep more heat).


Next, add the onion and garlic to the pan and cook until tender. Put in tomatoes, wine and red pepper flakes as needed. Lower the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the sauce has thicken. Return the meat to the pan and cook an additional 10 minutes.


Opitonal is to serve the steak piazziola with sprinkled fresh parsley.
